Decmil Construction Ltd (In Liquidation) Update
This is an update for Decmil Construction New Zealand Ltd (In Liquidation). Tempest Litigation Funders Limited (Tempest) is a debt-buying company and has purchased debts inside the liquidation of Decmil New Zealand Limited.
Decmil New Zealand Ltd is 100% owned subsidiary of Decmil Australia, which is a large, to be profitable, solvent, still registered and trading on the Australian Stock Exchange. Mr Mc Veigh, an Australian based Insolvency practitioner, has declined to hold a creditor’s meeting. It is remarkable and inappropriate to have a Perth-based insolvency practitioner, administering such a large insolvency. So, we have proposed Iain Shepherd and Angela Bethell from BDO, a New Zealand-based insolvency firm.
